Step 2 - In-Home Design Consultation
Whether you're just beginning your design journey or you're a seasoned DIY enthusiast, an in-home design consultation is the perfect place to start. Together, we’ll explore your vision, goals, and any challenges you’re facing with your space. We'll provide personalized guidance, recommendations, and resources on the spot to help you create the home of your dreams.
After our session, you’ll receive a detailed consultation summary, outlining all the ideas and suggestions we discussed, so you can move forward with confidence.
Duration: up to 1.5 hours
Investment: $285+GST
If you're just looking for a design consultation, that's perfectly fine! Your process with URR Design ends here, and we're happy to have helped.
But if you need more design assistance, don't worry - we'll continue working together as outlined below.

Phase 1. Design and Direction
Getting to know your needs, preferences, and lifestyle is the foundation of a successful interior design project. In this phase, we’ll work closely together to translate your vision into detailed floor plans, elevations, and visual illustrations—tools that bring clarity, direction, and purpose to the process.
This thoughtful planning stage ensures that every decision moving forward is intentional, aligned with your goals, and tailored to how you truly live.
Phase 2. Products, Materials and 3D Renderings
With your goals and style in mind, we’ll thoughtfully select the perfect colour palettes, products, materials, and finishes to bring your dream space together. Then, using a high-quality 3D digital model, you’ll get a realistic preview of the finished design long before any work begins.
It’s more than just a mockup, it’s your chance to visualize, fine-tune, and fall in love with your space before a single nail is hammered. This step not only builds confidence in the process, but ensures that every detail feels just right.
Duration: 6-12 weeks (Dependent on Project Scope)

2. Furniture, Décor & Styling
Customizable for any space, this full-service offering is tailored to help you bring your space together with ease. Whether you're starting from scratch or working with a few existing pieces you love, we’ll begin by creating a thoughtful furniture layout that fits your room and your lifestyle.
From there, we’ll source all the essential furnishings and decor, such as rugs, lighting, art, window treatments, and more—and present you with a personalized design plan to review and refine. Not only that, we’ll handle the purchasing, coordinate all deliveries, and return for a complimentary styling service to ensure your space feels complete.
It’s a seamless, stress-free way to create a home that looks beautiful and feels like you.
Duration: Dependent on Project Scope
Investment: Flat fee (Previous renovation / new build design clients enjoy $450 off this service)

Residential Building Permit Application
The process of obtaining a building permit can often be a daunting and time-consuming task, but it is a crucial step in ensuring safety, compliance, and quality. This service is great if you plan to oversee your project yourself. We are here to help streamline the process and make it as seamless as possible for you. Let’s work together to get your building permit approved efficiently and effectively.
